LIVING AT THE RESIDENCIA

Pears, the soap used by the residentsThe Residencia, besides providing students with the best physical environment, encouraged and satisfied other needs, such as the appreciation of art, music and theatre, and the practice of sports (tennis, soccer, climbing, skiing, athletics, rugby, or hockey) an effort to awake their interest in knowledge in all its dimensions. Practice and training were equally important: they understood that team sports and outdoor activities contributed to the development of body and mind, strengthening character and team spirit.

Science, music, performing arts, architecture, art, poetry ... were part of the daily life of the institution. They were present not only in the cultural programming open to the public, but also in educational activities for residents, as well as in the frequent gatherings that took place daily.
