The “Conferencias y lecciones en la Residencia, ” a  collection of small-format books, publishes this text by José Bello Lasierra (Huesca, 1904 - Madrid, 2008), known as  Pepín Bello in the world of arts and letters.

This surrealist letter entitled "Richard Wagner’s visit to Burgos” and written in Burgos, May 22, 1952, is addressed to Alfonso Buñuel, one of his best friends. It relates the imaginary visit paid by German composer Richard Wagner (Leipzig, 1813 - Venice, 1883) to Pepín at Castañares, a small town on the road between Logroño and  Burgos where he lived then.

Andrés Ruiz Tarazona wrote the introduction, the notes, and a biographical essay on Wagner.
