1924 Altolaguirre, Alberti, Cernuda

He obtains his law degree. Juan Ramón Jiménez and Gerardo Diego visit him in Malaga. In the spring of 1925, he moves to Madrid, where he briefly joins the law firm of politician Francisco Bergamín. With Bergamín’s son, José, and Rafael Alberti, Altolaguirre begins exploring the literary and artistic circles of the capital. He returns to Malaga in June and founds the printing house Sur with Emilio Prados and Álvaro Disdier. They publish Prados’ first book, Tiempo. Veinte poemas en verso, in December.
