He enrolls as a libre student at the Law School of the University of Granada. He meets Manuel de Falla and renews his friendship with Federico García Lorca, whom he had met as a child on the beaches of Malaga. In 1923, Souvirón, Hinojosa, Altolaguirre, and Antonio Chávez found the journal Ambos. Altolaguirre prints Gárgola, Souvirón’s first book, with funding from Hinojosa. His good friend Emilio Prados becomes an influential figure in his literary and personal development.
